Meet The Directors

With a growing team of dedicated staff, we are able to cater for all types of projects from Civil Engineering to Domestic builds.

Andrew Coleman

Director & Operations Manager

Heavy civils background to include managing large scale projects such as Energy from waste builds / Motorway infrastructure projects and also Yorkshire water contracts.

With over 20+ years hands on experience,also multiple certifications to suit. Worked his way through the ranks from the tools upwards to Senior general foreman / Works manager before joining YSS in 2019.

( although had a part time role before this with YSS advising on projects ) He currently holds the role of Director and Operations manager for us,overseeing the technical aspects of our projects and also looking after our teams on the ground.

Robert Coleman

Director & Project Manager

Engineering biased crossed with a construction background mainly in project and site management gained managing sites throughout the UK, with a portfolio of close to £500m worth of projects managed.

With a heavy amount of experience in CDM / Health and Safety, with both Nebosh & IOSH qualifications.

Retains the role of director and project manager for us.

Quoted on quite a large job, total garden makeover including new patio, fencing all around, drainage and off road parking at the front for an elderly relative. Quote was competive and they were able to advise and give options on how to do things.

They turned up early every day and worked whilst involving my relative in what was going on and taking the time to chat and listen which she really liked. Some jobs needed unplanned extra work but they did this without a problem. They advised on the paperwork side also and a dropped kerb has now been applied for which they will be coming to do! Relative is extremely happy.

Very professional and got the job done within a couple of days with great communication and some last minute paving which was no problem for them.

Extremely pleased - Highly recommend.
I requested a price for a Drop kerb and Rob was quick to respond with a no nonsense quote for the work.

After sorting the paperwork side on our end, we arranged a date and the team arrived as promised on the date given. The work was carried out professionally, with no mess or disruption to a very high standard.
